Summary

Perry, Holly, Val, and Andy had a very productive weekend preparing Anginsina for another season on the water.

The work list was extensive, and the results amazing, including:
- Reinstall all running rigging
- Replace the ball bearings in the sheet cars
- Service the bearings in the main sheet traveler
- Rebuild the gooseneck
- Install a second reef line in the boom
- Complete the installation of the outhaul
- Clean heads, bilge, galley, line locker, storage lockers…..everything
- Remove 25lbs of “junk” from the nav station.
- Remove the Auto-Pilot belt from the binnacle
- Install new instruments at binnacle and nav station
- Make inventory of safety equipment, including PFDs, flares, harnesses
- Reinstall cotter pins to all standing rigging
- Reinstall mast partners on the deck
- Reinstall chart plotter
- and many other essential boat tasks……..

MVT (most valuable tool) of the weekend: BFH - Big [insert appropriate word here] Hammer

There is still much to do, before we can go sailing, including: complete the rebuild of the transmission, reinstall the shaft and propeller, replace the sheave on the port jib lead car, and reinstall the jib halyard.

Along with our 12-hour workday, Bayfield lived up to its reputation: a sailing town with a drinking problem! Much fun was had by all.
