Summary

Photo Caption: The hardest working boat Mom ever!

Many hands make light work, unfortunately there were just not enough to complete the extensive list before the season.

Weather conditions were challenging, with cool temps and 25-35 knots of breeze driven in off the lake, which makes pouring epoxy interesting. The good news was that it did remain dry during the work days.

Despite these challenges, we did get an amazing amount of work done, including:

- Reinstalled all of the running rigging
- Reinstalled all lifelines, and attendant webbing lines around the bow
- Diagnosed issues with port primary winch – parts on order
- Removed and cleaned both secondary winches – Penny removed 20 years of winch grease!
- Repaired the structure under the starboard secondary winch
- Installed reef lines into the boom
- Interpreted the VPP report and polar diagrams, to create a useable target speed/angle cheat sheet
- Modify mainsheet configuration to remove friction and improve efficiency
- Found and fixed source of friction in outhaul
- Installed new batteries
- Fixed the starboard courtesy light
- Reattached speed transducer junction box
- Surveyed thru hull locations, to mark up on boat chart
- Reviewed and market location of all safety equipment on boat chart
- Created inventory of all PFDs, tethers, strobes, and harnesses.
- Tested all PDFs for serviceability
- Reviewed expiration date of pyrotechnics.
- Tidied up grab line in the cabin
- Whipped trim marks on check-stay lines
- Found spare key for engine – now have 4
